Marching Show Concepts is excited to welcome award-winning Tim McElearney with his innovative new composition, “Oxidation”. Simple in concept, the driving music of this show carries the audience and participants in an uplifting and forward direction of change. Tim McElearney’s inspiration for Oxidationcame from the root word Oxidize, which means to simply add oxygen to something. The most common concept of oxidation is metal turning to rust. Oxidation can also be seen in these transitions; copper turning to tarnish, water to steam, or plants turning co2 into oxygen. Any one of these concepts would make an excellent visual theme.
