Mount Olympus is the highest mountain in Greece and the second highest mountain in the Balkans. It has 52 peaks, deep gorges, and exceptional biodiversity. Olympus was notable in Greek Mythology as the home of the Twelve Olympians. Mount Olympus is also noted for its very rich flora with several species. Every year thousands of people visit Olympus to admire its nature, to tour its slopes, and reach its peaks. J.R. Trimpe pays special tribute to four famous mythological deities: Hermes (god of transitions and boundaries), Dionysus (god of the theatre), Aphrodite (goddess of love and beauty) and Zeus (the sky and thunder god). A bit of mythological research will bring you a wealth of ideas for your backdrops, props, flags and costumes. As with any Center X Productions show, visual concepts can be changed to fit the needs of your group. This show offers many unique musical moments and ideas that would work well with many themes or guard ideas.
