Center X Productions is thrilled to present Michael Pote's version of this timeless classic. Firebird Redux explores the ballet and orchestral concert work by the Russian composer Igor Stravinsky. The ballet is based on Russian folk tales of the magical glowing bird of the same name that is both a blessing and a curse to its captor. This arrangement of "The Firebird Suite" provides your audience and judges with a chance to hear a classic piece of music on the field in a way they never have before. Such thrilling music needs to be paired with equally exciting flags, costumes and props. Think Broadway and Ballet at their finest! Be sure to incorporate rich hues and imagery of the famous firebird. As with any Center X Productions show, visual concepts can be changed to fit the needs of your group. This show offers many unique musical moments and ideas that would work well with many themes or guard ideas.
