“Emotions” is an exciting exploration of human emotions. The inspiration came from the idea of the classic mood ring that appears to change color according to the mood of the ring-wearer.  This award-winning show delves to the depths of winter percussion performance with amazing results. The story begins with the quote: “Recently I have been having trouble getting in touch with my emotions.”  How many times have you heard that from your performers? Each mood and color of the show corresponds to a movement and section of the percussion ensemble.  As each section reveals a new color the other sections are drawn to that mood: Introduction - Green (neutral); Segment 1 - Orange (Daring/Stimulating); Segment 2 - Yellow (Imaginative); Segment 3 - Black (Anger/Intense); Segment 4 - Red (Exciting/Adventurous).
